Binta Colley

Binta received her Ph.D. from Boston College and certification in botanical illustration from The New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. As an educator and certified botanical illustrator, Binta’s work focuses on arts integration via STEAM, not STEM. Her prior experience includes both informal and formal teaching, research and service in higher education. Currently, she is working with her husband on improving science teaching and learning in West Africa.
