You’ll support one of the many tangible expressions of the nonprofit's mission and goals by collaborating with other farm operations to produce, age, package and ship our excellent cheddar cheese (and other farm products).
Working with the Creamery Manager, our Lead Cheesemaker will either assist or lead in the cheesemaking process and help support new cheesemakers joining our team. Our cheese team is integral to supporting a healthy local food system and providing an inspiring farm-based campus for learning for the Farm’s various programs and activities.

This position directly supports professional learning programs focused on education for sustainability, climate education, food systems education, and Farm to School. You will work with teachers, early childhood providers and other educators to integrate concepts of sustainability and farm to school into curriculum and into the learning experiences of students.

With guidance from the B&G Manager, you’ll perform diversified duties to troubleshoot, improve, repair, protect, and maintain campus facilities and equipment. $35k-$40k + free on-site housing.
Our dishwashers work in partnership with our entire kitchen and front of house staff to help create an authentic farm-to-dining experience. We will train staff with no experience however you will need to have open communication skills, able to prioritize tasks in a busy environment while adhering to all food safety regulations and protocols. $17 - 20/hour. On-site housing may be available for this role.

Participate in the creation of an environment at the inn where guests and colleagues feel welcomed, cared for, engaged, and inspired by preparing and offering a variety of beverages for guests, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and engaging guests in conversation about the organization. $12/hour + gratuities
Shelburne Farms is a National Historic Landmark and our Inn maintains many of its original furnishings and fixtures. We share this beautiful space with guests and visitors, so we look to you to help us maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the 24 guestrooms at the Inn, its common spaces, as well as 4 guest cottages across the farm. $18 - 21/hour + gratuities.
