Video: Northeast Climate Change Education Collaborative Convenes

There’s strength in numbers — take, for example, the Northeast Climate Change Education Collaborative, convened by Shelburne Farms.

Throughout each year, informal educators from 80+ organizations who all teach about climate change come together to engage in professional learning, build capacity for justice, and collaborate for climate action. Each meeting is a chance to tap into the power of the network, and a reminder that none of us are alone in working for positive change. “This is our power as a group,” said Kerri McAllister, Shelburne Farms Program Manager and facilitator of the collaborative. For participants at the November gathering at The Ecology School in Saco, Maine, she posed the question, “What can we do to move and change these systems together?”
